Stories of Our Lives Another blessed holiday season

It is gray and cool today and the wind is still, but there’s a true hint of autumn in the air. I can’t fully identify that “hint,” but it has to do with the browning oak leaves, the tassels on the cane and the fading colors of summer flowers.

Posted: November 11, 2009 6 a.m.

As I sat outside in the cold night, huddled in a sleeping bag and several layers of clothing, to watch Heritage High play football, the reality finally hit me — I probably won’t get to do this much longer. You see, Morgan is a senior this year.

Posted: October 21, 2009 1:05 p.m.

]I have a love/hate relationship with crafts. I usually stay away from the craft fairs because they sometimes give me ideas, but Sunday was such a pretty day that I found myself at War Eagle Mill. That’s how I caught the bug.
